02. Product Features for HVAC Heavy Duty Latch Systems (6-281, 6-282, 6-283)
The new Heavy Duty Latch System (product system numbers 6-281, 6-282, and 6-283) delivers maximum flexibility and security for modern climate control cabinets.
Its modular design allows for a wide range of configurations, making it easy to adapt the system to the specific requirements of any application.
With multiple handle options—including non-locking, key or insert locking, and a padlock option—the HVAC handle can be tailored to meet the desired security level.
For added peace of mind, an optional emergency release allows the door to be opened from inside the cabinet, even if the handle is locked from the outside.
The handle is IP66 certified (when used with the sealing kit), providing excellent protection against water ingress and environmental factors.
Additionally, the use of high-strength, reinforced polyamide materials eliminates the thermal bridge between the interior and exterior of the cabinet. This enhances functionality, safety, and energy efficiency for HVAC systems.
The system accommodates door thicknesses ranging from 25 to 100 mm and can be configured for various application needs, including roller cams, emergency release, or multipoint latching.
For applications that do not require behind-the-door latching, front-of-door installation is also an option. This versatility makes the system suitable for a wide range of HVAC enclosures and applications.
02. Product Features for HVAC Locking Hinge with Pressure Release and Locking Function (4-270.02)
Constructed from glass fiber-reinforced polyamide (PA6 GF30), the hinge is flame-retardant and meets UL94 V0 fire protection standards, ensuring reliable performance in safety-critical environments.
The integrated 8 mm actuator allows for controlled pressure equalization. A 90° rotation of the actuator moves the hinge 4 mm, safely regulating and relieving pressure within the enclosure.
Only after an additional 90° rotation does the latch fully open, allowing the door to be unhinged.
Engineered for durability, the hinge provides exceptional stability, making it ideal for safety-critical and environmentally sensitive applications.
With horizontal and vertical adjustability, the hinge allows for precise door alignment, simplifying installation and ensuring a perfect fit for daily use.
The locking hinge can be mounted on either the right or left side, offering maximum flexibility in the design and installation of HVAC enclosures.

Constructed from high-strength aluminum, the fastener offers exceptional stability while maintaining a lightweight design.
The HVAC Joiner enables secure and accurate locking of two housings along the X, Y, and Z axes, ensuring a reliable connection.
With its modular design, the fastener can be seamlessly integrated into a variety of enclosure systems. It is especially suited for applications requiring precision, repeatability, and long-term durability.
