This is exactly where our new RC3 PrC swinghandles for profile cylinders (PS 3-150.08 and PS 2-090.07) come into play. Whether in machine and plant engineering, transportation technology and tunnel infrastructure, IT cabiinets, or utility enclosures- these swinghandles offer a durable solution for applications where increased security is essential.
Both models feature a traditional swinghandle design, and are available in left and right swing variants. In addition to the standard PrC mounting opening, the swinghandles are also suitable for the 150×25 mounting opening. Their IP65-certified design, in accordance with DIN EN 60529, provides reliable protection against dust and water—an advantage that is particularly well suited for the demands of industrial and outdoor environments.
In accordance with DIN EN 1627:2021-11 and DIN EN 1630:2021-11, the swinghandles meet resistance class RC3. This enables them to withstand targeted break-in attempts and significantly hinders tampering. This not only reduces the risk of unauthorized access but also prevents potential follow-up costs that may result from vandalism.
