Our new fire rated gasket and edge protection profiles are specially designed to meet the high demands of rail transport as well as the transport and logistics sectors. The product systems comply with the strict requirements of DIN EN 45545-2 (R22/R23 HL2 and HL3) and thus offer maximum safety in the event of a fire.
The sealing profiles are made of high-quality EPDM – EPDM foam rubber in the bulb area for maximum flexibility, and solid EPDM rubber with an integrated wire carrier for a secure grip. In addition to providing fire protection, the material impresses with its excellent chemical resistance and wide temperature range. DIRAK has expanded its product range with four new product systems, each offering specific advantages depending on the application:
- 5-150FS: Fire protection sealing profile with hollow chamber at the top
- 5-151FS: Fire protection sealing profile with hollow chamber and lip on the side
- 5-152FS: Fire protection sealing profile with lip on top
- 5-161FS: Edge protection profile
